How T&G sells (regionally) and to whom
T&G has long enjoyed good business in East Asia, where popular sizes of cone filters vary slightly from their European equivalents. Now T&G has its own strategic base in Singapore, which makes these domestic filters to European standards from Swiss paper. T&G’s sales team in Singapore covers all East Asia, from Myanmar (Burma) across to China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia & New Zealand, offering Singapre-made cone coffee filters to the retail sector and UK-made basket filters to the professional catering sector.
From the Indian subcontinent to the Americas’ Pacific coastline, sales of ‘made in England’ cone and basket filters are handled from the UK sales office in Peterborough. The core areas are primarily Northern & Southern Europe, Arabia and Africa, with specialist distributors covering niche, eg. ‘green’ retailer, sectors in North America. T&G coffee filters are bought by coffee machine manufacturers, coffee roasters, specialist coffee distributors, food-service wholesalers and vending-machine distributors, serving the hotel, restaurant, office & canteen sectors.
What T&G sells
Probably the widest range of filter sizes in the world. T&G offers a bespoke manufacturing service, beyond private label. Filters are supplied in unusual sizes and counts, in creative packaging, with attention to detail and user-needs in mind, optimising saleability and profit for T&G customers. A wide variety of packaging formats permit a range of branded coffee filters to be put together with originality …which works, even against commodity products in plain brown wrappers. Created by a clever combination of factory, man & machine, it has its cost but the end-result is something exclusive, much appreciated by commercial users.
T&G’s creative engineering has also developed high volume production of the Autocup® range of filters; this means the crucial 250mm diameter basket filters in the popular 250, 1000 & 5000 filter packs can be made for the Horeca sector, under best JIT principles.
T&G supplies a benefit to its customers, this means they profit, we’re happy with that.
